Alecia Farkas is a native of Colorado; she was born in Westminster and lived in Longmont. Moving from Colorado in high school, she spent most of her adult life in the small rural town of Sedalia, Missouri. In September 2019 she returned to Longmont to join The Law Offices of Peter M. Anderson.

Alecia’s background dovetails nicely with the expectations of her litigation role at the firm. Her 20 years of legal experience include 10 years with the Pettis County Circuit Court as Secretary to the Presiding Judge and supervisor of the Circuit Civil Division. In addition, she has 10 years of paralegal experience in general practice law firms, where she assisted clients on a variety of matters including personal injury, bankruptcy and domestic relations. Her jury trial experience has been on both sides of the bench in assisting judges and juries in her roles within the Pettis County Circuit Court and assisting attorneys as a paralegal fighting for plaintiffs’ rights. Alecia’s passion is representing injured plaintiffs in personal injury litigation; the firm provides her with the opportunity to fulfill her goal of helping clients. The Law Offices of Peter M. Anderson stands by its motto: “Big enough to deliver, small enough to care”. It is the perfect representation of Alecia’s work philosophy of delivering high quality legal service with a personal touch.
