CURRICULUM VITAE: CATHIE PONCE DE LEON
Cathie Ponce de Leon has a long illustrious paralegal career in Colorado dating back to the early 1990s, when she joined a small general practice office. In the ensuing years, Cathie moved on to larger firms, escalating from the ranks of legal secretary to becoming the senior litigation paralegal for the Hoover Law Firm. With the firm for nearly two decades, Cathie was the lead paralegal overseeing high profile personal injury and medical malpractice cases. She has extensive litigation expertise in Federal and State Courts. Cathie now brings her expertise to the Law Offices of Peter M. Anderson, where she will continue in her roles as a senior litigation paralegal in cooperation with Alecia Farkas. Throughout her tenure, Cathie has advocated for plaintiffs in all types of legal matters, and continues to focus her efforts on helping injured clients navigate the complex legal system. Most importantly, she works hard to obtain fair/just settlements for clients, and works side-by-side with Peter Anderson when cases go to trial. She believes in the firm’s dictum of Jury – Trial – Justice.
Cathie is also fluent in Spanish and American Sign Language, proving invaluable to those clients who require assistance in communicating about the legal process. With a small, select roster of clients, Cathie and the rest of the team can dedicate the time and resources necessary to hopefully ensure the best possible case outcome.
